Is it really October already?!?!

I left my job in June to be a stay at home mom, we put our house on the market and moved to Frederick, MD. The kids and I stay very busy doing various activities around town. I can honestly say we never spend a single day sitting, we are always on the go which we love. Christopher started preschool last month and loves it. He has learned so much already. Yesterday he came home and gave us a "stop, drop and roll" demonstration. Katie's vocabulary has exploded she says new words everyday! It feels like she has grown up overnight. We took our first family trip to Orlando last month and the kids did great! Its safe to say our babies are now kids. Although I am sad the baby days are over I love the freedom our family has in the "kid phase". I'm so thankful I am getting the opportunity to spend this precious time with them, I would not trade it for the world. Thanks Brian :)

We have a 3 year old and a walker!

Our baby boy turned 3 and had a blast celebrating. First on his actual birthday we went to Frying Pan Park to see the baby animals. The following weekend we had his Cars themed party at the moonbounce place with all of his friends from school. He quickly adjusted to the 3s room, it only took 1/2 day. He is such a go with the flow kind of guy. Katie is WALKING!!! At 15 months she said enough with the crawling and decided to go for it. There is no stopping her now! It is so exciting but at the same time heartbreaking, she is officially a toddler. I just can't believe how fast time is going by. Easter this year was a lot of fun. They both really liked making a mess with the eggs and dye. See video below. LOL! We also did am egg hunt outside which they both really enjoyed. As they are getting older we are excited to be going out and about more. We did the Baltimore Aquarium last week and it was funny to see how they both reacted. Katie really got into looking at all of the animals, and Chris was more excited to ride the escalator. We did the whole place in an hour he was going so fast! HA! Overall is was an awesome time, no fits!

Eek! Where has the time gone?!?!

Here it is almost March and I've yet to post Xmas and Katie Bear's b-day pics! Life has been crazy hectic lately. Katie is a comfortable "cruiser" if she has anything to hold on to she is happy walking around. She has great balance and stands unassisted all the time. But if you put your hands out for her to walk to you she goes to the floor laughing and crawls over :)

Chris is quickly approaching 3 and is counting down the days until his party at the moonbounce place. He will be moving up to the 3s room at "school" and we all can't wait, he's outgrown the 2s. He is such a big boy now, he can dress himself, knows the alphabet, count to 20, count to 10 in Spanish and is working on phonics! We are so proud of him.

Xmas came and went and I will admit Xmas with 2 toddlers is an adventure. There were a lot of "MINES" and gift exchanges. Whatever one of them has the other one wants.

Katie got her 1st haircut last month and didn't mind it at first. Towards the end she got a little upset because the woman was taking way too long. But I was proud of her, she was a big girl and sat in the chair all by herself!
